CHH Engraving’s History

Our company was founded more than 30 years ago by Charles H. Heyl. A local teacher, Heyl was looking for a way to engrave name badges and awards for his fellow educators. From its humble beginnings in his basement workshop, CHH Engraving continued to grow and gain new customers, moving into a storefront office. Today, we have a dedicated showroom and design facility.

In January 2001, CHH Engraving was purchased by John Barber, who has nearly 20 years of experience in promotional product sales and service. His expertise in decoration processes including printing, engraving, and embroidery allowed CHH Engraving to expand its service offerings and provide a diverse set of marketing tools.

The CHH Engraving Team

At CHH Engraving, you will find experienced professionals with the knowledge to help you select the perfect products and build your brand. Our team includes:

• Marcia Barber: Marcia supports our clients and sales team with exemplary customer service traits, product knowledge and research skills. She also provides marketing services for CHH Engraving.
• Nancy Barber: Barber designs and creates CHH Engraving’s custom plaques, clocks, nameplates, and trophies. With a great eye for design, Nancy applies what she learned from Charlie Heyl to create awards that are memorable and unique.
• Joe Barber works with and is being taught the engraving profession. He has a degree in Illustration from UMass Dartmouth and is bringing his own style to our engraving services.
