CHH Engraving was founded over 25 years ago by Charles H. Heyl as a way to engrave a few name badges and awards for his fellow teachers. Out of this inauspicious start in his basement, the company has grown to where it now occupies a storefront office, showroom, and design facility.

CHH Engraving was purchased in January of 2001 by John Barber, a veteran of 17 years in promotional product sales and service. The combination of his experience in the other decoration processes (printing, embroidery, and etching) enables the company to offer many diverse tools for marketing as well as some truly unique recognition items. The CUSTOM in Custom Awards is not by accident.

Rounding out the staff are Patti DiNoia, who handles many of the administrative responsibilities, Al Roman in sales, and Nancy Barber in design and engraving. Patti has an extensive background in promotional product sales support and customer service. Al is a veteran salesperson and also has had some experience in the awards industry, building trophies, and engraving. Nancy, having learned from the expert Charlie, has already shown a great "eye for design" to create awards that are unique and special.

As a team we are here to serve you, the customer. The lighthouse logo is significant to us as a reminder of the source of our light. It is also a reminder of our responsibility to be light to the world. It is our hope, as we work with you, that you will experience that light. We also hope that we can help light the way for people to come to you and to help brighten the lives of your clients and staff through the use of our expertise and products.
